Publications | Felony Sentences in the United States, 1994Presents the latest available figures for both State and Federal sentencing, reporting that in 1994 the Nation's courts convicted a total of about 900,000 persons of a felony offense. State courts accounted for 96% of the national total and Federal courts for 4%.
