AFI11-230 Publication Summary:
Purpose:
This instruction implements AFPD 11-2, Flight Rules and Procedures. It provides guidance on establishing, approving,
revising, or deleting instrument procedures. It will apply to flying activities at all airfields where the Air Force, or an Air
Force component of a unified command conducts or supports instrument flight. Use this instruction in conjunction with
AFMAN 11-226 (I), US Standard for Terminal Instrument Procedures (TERPS) and NATO APATC-1, Criteria for the
Preparation of Instrument Approach and Departure Procedures.
