The readme file is located in the root directory of the CD. This 1961-1990 Global Climate Normals CD-ROM has two DOS- executable programs which extract selected records from the allnorms.dat global normals data file. They are cntryext.exe and stn_ext.exe Both programs ask the user to specify an output file where the selected records will be written to, and both programs ask the user to specify which records he or she wants to select. The full pathname for the output file must be specified (to a maximum of 60 characters total). This includes drive, directory path, and filename: DRIVE:\DIRECTORY_PATH\FILENAME
