What's New on the SPI CD-ROM 1929-99
                            November 2000

1.  State annual estimates for 1997-99 have been revised since the
    release of the SPI CD-ROM in May 2000, and reflect the revision
    to the national income and product accounts (NIPA's) that was
    released on August 1, 2000.

2.  Changes in State annual estimates for 1929-58 are a result of the
    National Income and Product Accounts (NIPA) benchmark revisions.
    Estimates for 1958-68 have been revised since the release of the
    1929-97 SPI CD-ROM in September 1998, to incorporate the results
    of the comprehensive revision to the NIPA's released in October
    1999. Estimates for 1929-58 have been revised since the 1929-97
    SPI CD-ROM in September 1998, to incorporate the results of the
    comprehensive revision to the NIPA's released in April 2000. For

3.  The previous SPI CD-ROM contained estimates for 1969-98. This
    SPI CD contains estimates for 1929-99. The years are divided
    into two series, 1929-57 and 1958-99.
