U.S. Imports of Merchandise                         Bureau of the Census

These files present statistics on imports of merchandise into the U.S. by
commodity (International Harmonized System Commodity Classification),
country of origin, district of entry, and district of unlading.  Four summary
data bases present any one of those variables, and a detailed database
presents a comprehensive cross classification.

   On the FILE SELECTION MENU  -  Select one summary or detailed data base.

   On the MAIN MENU you may

1  Select ITEMS       select specific statistics to display out of each record
2  Select RECORDS     select commodities, countries or districts to display
3  Add LABELS         add text or other information associated with a code
4  Manipulate files   resequence records, generate totals (advanced option)
5  Format options     select a columnar report or rowwise listing

6  Display to Screen
7  Print              send output to printer (use option 5 to configure)
8  EXTRACT DATA       create an extract file in any of 3 formats
