SNYDER, GRAYDON F.: 1930-

Graydon F. Snyder was born on April 30, 1930, in Peru, Ind., the son of Clayton Fisher and Irene Fisher Snyder. He married Lois Homing on June 13, 1953, and they had three children : Jonathan Edvard, Anna Christine, and Stephen Daniel. He earned the A.B. degree from Manchester College, 1951; B.D. degree from Bethany Biblical Seminary, 1954; and Ph.D. degree from Princeton Theological Seminary, 1961. Snyderis a minister of the Church of the Brethren and became professor of biblical studies at Bethany Theological Seminary (Oak Brook, Ill.) in 1959. He received a Fulbright grant to study at the University of Oslo, 1958-59, and is a member of the editorial board, BRETHREN LIFE AND THOUGHT.
