SCHUK, GEORGE EDWARD: 1930-

Born in Indianapolis, Ind., on Sept. 13, 1930, George Edward Schuk is the son of George Oscar Edward and page: [542][View Page [542]] Viola May Lentz Schuk. He earned the following academic degrees: B.S. in 1952, Purdue University; M.S. in 1954, Michigan State University; A.M. in 1958 and Ph.D. in 1961, University of Chicago. He married Maria Ignez Angeli on May 23, 1965, and they had one daughter, Audrey Marie. Schuk started teaching agricultural economics at Purdue University in 1959. He served in the U.S. Army, 1954-56.
