ROBINSON, MARY YANDES: 1864-1953.

Mary Yandes Robinson was born in Milwaukee, Wis., on April 22, 1864, the daughter of Joseph R. and Elizabeth Yandes Robinson. She was an art student in New York, Massachusetts, and Indianapolis and also studied under T. C. Steele. Miss Robinson taught art at the Girls Classical School ( Indianapolis ) and the Art School and gave private lessons in her home. She was a member of the Indiana Historical Society for more than forty years and died on March 15, 1953.
