RICHEY, ALBERT SUTTON: 1874-1936.

A native of Muncie, Ind., and born on April 10, 1874, Albert Sutton Richey was the son of Webster Scott and Julia M. Thomas Richey. From Purdue University he received the B.M.E. degree in 1894 and the E.E. degree in 1908. He married Edith Holman Kendrick on June 14, 1907, and they had two daughters, Frances and Janet. Richey was an electrical engineer for the Union Traction Company of Indiana until 1905 page: [512][View Page [512]] at which time he became professor of electrical engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a consulting engineer. He was a fellow of the American Institute of Electrical Engineers and died on June 24, 1936.
