REYNOLDS, FERRIS ERVIN: 1907-

Ferris Ervin Reynolds was born in Tampico, Ind., on May 18, 1907. He was married in 1933 and is the father of three children. He received the following academic degrees: A.B. in 1929 from Butler University, B.D. in 1931 and S.T.M. in 1932 from Hartford Theological Seminary, and Ph.D. in 1935 from the University of Edinburgh. Reynolds was pastor of the Second Congregational Church in Manchester, Conn., from 1935 to 1946. In 1946 he became chairman of the philosophy and religion department at Elon College.
