NORTHRUP, ANNE HOLMES (MRS. ARTHUR H.): 1919-

The daughter of Walter C. and Gladys Copeland Holmes, Anne Holmes was born in Indianapolis, Ind., on Aug. 17, 1919. She received the following academic degrees: A.B. from Vassar College, 1941; M.S. from Butler University, 1944; and A.M. in 1945 and Ed.D. in 1951 from Teachers College, Columbia University. On July 13, 1948, she married Arthur Harry Northrup and they had two children, Arthur and Nancy. Mrs. Northrup was a teacher at Orchard School ( Indianapolis ), 1941-42, and Free Kindergarten Society, 1942-44 and 1946-48. She taught at Butler University in 1948 and 1952-53.
