NOBLITT, MINNIE. WALLS (MRS. LOREN S.): 1888-1969.

Minnie Walls was born in French Lick, Ind., on Dec. 20, 1888, the daughter of Jacob Holmes and Lucy Anna Enes Walls. She received the B.S. and A.M. degrees from Alma College and graduated from Zarephath Bible Institute (N.J.). On June 25, 1908, she married Loren Scott Noblitt and they had three children: Alma Joyce, Loren Walls, and Charles Robert. Mrs. Noblitt taught in public schools for three years and in church institutions for twenty-four years, the last of which was at Indiana Central College. She was an ordained minister of the Evangelical United Brethren church and retired in 1954 after thirty-four years of evangelistic work, teaching, and assisting her husband in pastoral work. Some of her poems were published in anthologies and periodicals. She died in 1969.
