NOBLE, THOMAS BENJAMIN: 1895-1958.

Thomas Benjamin Noble, Jr. , was born in Indianapolis, Ind., on Jan. 21, 1895, the son of Thomas Benjamin and Florence Robb Noble. He obtained the B.S. degree from the University of Wisconsin in 1915 and the M.D. degree from Washington University (Saint Louis) in 1918. He married Mary Stein Ronaldson in 1918 and they had four children: Patricia, John, Douglas, and Margaret.

Subsequent to serving in World War I, Noble became associated with his father in medical practice in Indianapolis . He was an abdominal surgeon and was affiliated with the staffs of Saint Vincent's, General, Methodist, and Community hospitals. In 1957 he began writing and mimeographing a monthly journal, PROLOGOMENA MEDICA, which he distributed to over 500 world-wide correspondents. Noble died in Laguna Beach, Calif., on Dec. 8, 1958.
