NIBLACK, ALBERT PARKER: 1859-1929.

Albert Parker Niblack was born in Vincennes, Ind., on July 25, 1859. He was the son of William E. and Eliza Sherman Niblack. He graduated from the United State Naval Academy, 1890, and the Naval War College, 1916. He married Mary A. Harrington on Nov. 24, 1903. He became a rear admiral in 1917 and retired in 1923. Admiral Niblack held important commands page: [451][View Page [451]] during World War I and was awarded numerous military decorations by the U.S. Navy and foreign countries. He died on Aug. 20, 1929.
