ALBJERG, ESTHER MARGUERITE HALL (MRS. VICTOR L.): 1895-1971.

Born on Sept. 9, 1895, in Franklin, Ind., Esther Marguerite Hall was the daughter of Columbus H. and Theodosia Parks Hall. She received the A.B. degree in 1917 from Franklin College and the degrees of A.M. in 1922 and Ph.D. in 1925 from the University of Wisconsin. She married Victor Lincoln Albjerg on Aug. 13, 1927, and they had one daughter, Patricia Parks. Until her retirement Mrs. Albjerg taught at the University of Wisconsin, Franklin College, and Purdue University and was head of the history department at Alabama State College for Women. She died in LaFayette, Ind., on Nov. 17, 1971.
