Esther Nelson Karn
grew up in De Kalb
County, Ind.,
was educated at Hicksville Union High School, where she taught
for one year, and attended the Detroit School of Journalism and the De Silva School
of Oratory in Fort Wayne, Ind. Following her marriage she
moved to Fort Wayne.
