BLAICH, LYDIA REBECCA: 1870-1933.

Lydia Rebecca Blaich was born in Indianapolis in 1870. She was educated in the local schools and at the University of Chicago, with graduate work and advanced degrees from several other institutions. She studied German educational methods on a fellowship at Jena in 1909-10.

Miss Blaich served as a teacher and administrator in the Indianapolis public schools throughout most of her career. She died in that city in February, 1933. Besides the works listed she was the author of at least one textbook.
