IGLEHART, FERDINAND COWLE: 1845-1922.

Born in Warrick County, Ind., on Dec. 8, 1845, Ferdinand Cowle Iglehart , son of Asa and Ann Cowle Iglehart, was educated at De Pauw University, receiving the A.B. degree in 1867, A.M. in 1869, and D.D. in 1892.

In 1870 he was ordained in the Methodist Episcopal ministry, and from 1870 until 1882 he served as pastor of churches in Indiana . He was a pastor in Illinois and New York from 1882 to 1905. Until 1916 he was district superintendent of the New York Anti-Saloon League. He also served on the editorial staff of the CHRISTIAN HERALD. He married Nannie Dorsey Stewart in 1869 and died on July 21, 1922.

INGRAHAM, ELLEN M.: 1832-1919.

Mrs. Ellen M. Ingraham , who wrote under the pen name of Grace Lintner, was born in New Haven, Conn., in 1832 and came to Indianapolis in April, 1865. She was a painter and art teacher. She died in 1919.
