Harry Barnard, 1906-1982, was a journalist and biographer.
Scope and Content Note
The Barnard, H. mss., 1924-1983, consists of the correspondence of Harry Barnard,
1906-1982, journalist, relating to his projected biography of Wendell Lewis Willkie,
1892-1944. Also present are transcripts of interviews with various people
reminiscing about Willkie, photographs of Willkie and Willkie family members,
Barnard's typed and holograph notes about Willkie or Willkie material, photocopies
of Willkie's letters in various libraries and research collections, and news
clippings and articles by and about Willkie.
