ERRATA.

THE journals of the business of both Houses as well as the debates, almost every day of the session were marred by the diminutions practiced in the office of the Indianapolis DAILY SENTINEL, for which these reports were originally furnished under a contract designed to provide against such interferences.

THE reference to the Appendix on page 196 et seg. for the debate on Mr. Kimball's Committee bill H. R. 350 to organize Insurance Companies and to regulate the business of Insurance Companies etc., requires a statement. It has been thought best not to publish that debate because Mr. Wilson of Ripley, who took the largest part therein, neglects to authenticate and return the report of his speeches, The "five minutes rule" also began to restrain debate at the time this subject was pending. Otherwise the volume might have exceeded the amount of matter to which the reporters have restricted themselves throughout the series.

Page 101 should be in the place of 102 and page 102 should be in the place of 101.The line in page 376 "continued from page 84," should read "continued from page 90."The line in page 395 "Amendments to the ConstitutionJudges SalaryDebate in continuation" should read "The Common School Law - Debate in continuation."

IN Volume XIII page 274 Mr. Willard's remarks on the Soldier's monument are erroneously attributed to Mr. Wilson of Ripley.
