JUSTICES OF THE PEACE.

Mr. BONHAM offered a resolution directing the Judiciary Committee to inquire into the expediency of limiting the number of Justices of the Peace to three in each county, having jurisdiction coextensive with their respective counties.

The motion was rejected.
