GRAND RAPIDS AND INDIANA RAILROAD.

The joint resolution H. R. 12, see page 111 of these Reports, was read the first time, and,

On motion by Mr. WARD, it was read the second time.

Mr. BROWN, of Wells, stated that the company had already a sufficient amount of land granted to them to build the road, and an extension of time was all that is desired. The project was one of considerable importance to the northern part of the State.

On his motion, the joint resolution was read the third time, and finally passed by yeas 39. nays 0.
