SOLDIERS OF THE WAR OF 1812.
Mr. DURHAM asked and obtained leave to introduce a joint resolution (No. 1), as follows:
WHEREASThere yet remains some of the valiant men who served in the war of 1812, and also indigent widows of the soldiers of ssid war, who have never received a pension from the government of the United States, therefore -
Be it resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Indiana That our Senators Congress be instructed, and our Represtatives requested to use their best efforts to obtain for such soldiers and their widows a pension during their natural lives.
