ABANDONED ROADS.

Mr. ODELL offered the following, which was adopted:

WHEREAS, There are a number of plank, turnpike, gravel and M'Adamized roads in this State, that have been suffered to get and remain out of repair for an unreasonable length of time: And Whereas, there are many of such roads that have been partially abandoned: Therefore, be it -

Resolved, That the Judiciary Committee be requested to inquire into the expediency of introducing a bill to provide the mode and manner by which the rights of the owners of such roads may be declared forfeited; and that they report by bill or otherwise.
