Shoe-shaped carriage

image number:

description:

This image scanned from the scrapbook / photograph album of Una Lenore Camp (AB 1917). Her caption reads, in full: "Pearl [Stuart] Ida, Ethel & I all took a hike to Gentry's farm & saw the animals. On seeing this wagon we had an inspiration to be snapped."

"Gentry's farm" refers to the Gentry Brothers farm (probably on South Rogers). The Gentry's were also known for their circus.

This same carriage appears on page 366 of the 1917 Arbutus yearbook.
