description:

This image scanned from the Cross Country & Track manager's book for 1930-1931.

Page 70 of the book describes this course in the November 10th journal entry: "Their work-out today includes a run over the new course mapped out for the Ohio State dual meet here this coming Friday afternoon. The new course, approximatly 4 3/4 mile in length, starts on the golf course [Woodlawn Field] as does the five mile course, a lap on the golf course, cutting across to Jordan Field, diagonally across this field and up the Phi Delt [Phi Delta Theta] hill path, down and around the west end of the stadium, up Tenth street to Fee Lane, and the 3 1/2 mile course returning t0 the stadium thru the south-east gate to finish with one lap on the cinder track. The trenches being dug for the new campus wiring system will add some complications to the path around the outside of the stadium by the end of the week."
