According to page 127 of the 1955 Bloomington City Directory, Marshall Lutes was the teacher at the Hensonburg School. Later editions of the City Directory show him as Principal.

This view is from the southeast. The building still stands today (Jan. 2013) on the southeast corner of Vernal Pike and Lemon Lane (the building is set quite a way back from this intersection). See image P0049788 for an aerial image that shows the exact location.
