description:

A description on the back of the photo print reads, "In order for us to become good readers it was necessary to make books available. First an unused room was made into a library room by building shelves, cutting an archway, and securing a table and chairs. Then all available books were collected, classified and shelved. We do the same with all new books we get. To make the room more attractive we made curtains and chair covers. We bought a rug for the floor too. We have full responsibility for the care of the library."
