title:

Future Bloomington Post Office as Envisioned by John Linclon and Bridge J. Nichols?

image number:

P0034653

description:

Is this a Bridge J. Nichols drawing of the future Bloomington Post Office? Above the words "New Post Office" at lower right can clearly be seen the illegible signature of another person. Just above that name, somewhat hidden in the drawing, are the initials "BJN" which we can only assume are those of Bridge J. Nichols, architect and the son of architect John Lincoln Nichols.

This image scanned from "Souvenir Program: Sixth Annual Minstrel: Bloomington, Indiana, Lodge, No. 446 B.P.O. Elks: Opera House, March Sixteenth Nineteen Hundred Six." (Found in IU Archives collection C219).
