Associated news article caption, dated May 27, 1965, reads: "Construction of the new Indiana University Library will begin next fall at Jordan and 10th in Bloomington, site of the former Phi Delta Theta fraternity house. The seven-story, $12 million building will be financed by state and federal funds and will replace two older structures which will be converted to other academic use. The new library is expected to be finished by the fall of 1968."
