John William Cravens is at center wearing a bow tie and skimmer.

Harold Whetstone Johnston is to the right of Cravens and behind the construction wearing a white shirt. Johnston is not wearing a hat.

On one of the three vintage prints of this image held in the IU Archives the man standing in front of Johnston appears to be named "Soupart". There was a "Mr. Soupart" that seems to have worked for contractor W. F. Stillwell of Lafayette, Indiana.

William Lowe Bryan is standing at the right corner of the building wearing a skimmer.
