Written on the reverse side of the image, in full: "The old County Seminary at Bloomington, Indiana. Organized in 1818, this building completed in 18343. It stood at the corner of College Avenue and Seventh Street, across the street north from the post office. The new Masonic Temple now stands on the side. In one of its moves the Edgeworthalean Society hold its meetings during the years 1841, 1842, and 1843."
