description:

The envelope of negatives from which this image was canned contains an IU News Bureau release which reads, in part: "Gail Bingham...seems serene as she studies next to a pile of pipes on the campus. The pipes took on a gun-muzzle-like quality, however, when she revealed the book she is reading is 'Dynamics of Aggression'." It is possible that this is Gail E. Bingham, author of "The Liberated Black Woman: A Question of Black Power and Nationalism" that was published in the 1974 edition (v. 2, no. 1, article 15) of IUSTITIA.
