Southwest corner of Sixth Street and Lincoln Street. Apparently, The home was first built for Hull Showers and wife Maude in the 1880s. Hull died young in 1886 of tonsillitis. Maude carried on in his place as an executive at the Showers Furniture company. Sometime in the late 1890s, Gus Davis bought the home. The house has been called the Showers-Davis House and/or the Hull-Showers House.
